Amidst the turbulent rocking waves of a world turned upside down... I realized..

Okay, I am desperately in need of new music, so I'm going to you, f-list (and whoever else happens upon this entry), in my time of need! 

Right now I’m into lots of indie stuff, but it’s not like I don’t listen to ‘mainstream’ music either. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with liking ‘mainstream’ music - for example, I really like Fireflies by Owl City right now. Anyway, I like artists that can do either mellow or upbeat stuff. Some of my favorite songs are I See You, You See Me by The Magic Numbers, Your Ex-Lover is Dead by Stars (they’re a great band, by the way), Calendar Girl by Stars, Forever Love (Digame) by Anna Nalick, Incomplete Lullaby by Lisa Mitchell, Slide by The Goo Goo Dolls and (my absolute favorite) Falling Slowly by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. Basically, you know. Pretty stuff. I'm open to pretty much anything (I trust your judgement, f-list!) but, you know, just thought I'd tell you guys what kind of stuff I normally like in case you needed some direction or whatever. Anyway, please recommend me some new music because I'm desperately in need of it! =D

  Ugh, my photobucket account expired since I haven't used it in forever either. I'll need to fix my banner when I'm not too lazy. So, I'm really sorry I've been super inactive lately. My life's just been pretty crazy what with school and all. I'm really worried about starting IB - if I'm stressed all the time now, imagine what it's going to be like then! I think it's mainly because of my extracurrics. THIMUN prep is completely killer, but it'll all be worth it when I'm there. Can you believe that I'm going to the Hague in January? I'll be there for my birthday, too, which is pretty awesome, especially since it's on the last day of the conference, when there's going to be a party for all the delegates. I'm really excited! I bought two new coats, too - one's red and one's white. I need boots or something though, and some more businessy stuff for the conference, but whatever, I have until the 22nd of January to get all my stuff.
